Job DescriptionJob Summary: Irish Arts Center is seeking a full time Executive Assistant to the Director (EA). This position holds responsibility for a wide array of institutional activities and impacts all aspects of company operations as they relate to the Executive Director (ED). These areas include: executive leadership and strategic planning, institutional networking, artistic programming, fundraising and development, and operational management. The EA provides holistic and operational support to the ED, such as: assisting with management of the ED schedule, record keeping and task management, expense reporting, office management, human resources administrative support, and general assistance with administrative duties. An essential member of the Irish Arts Center team, the EA is exposed to all aspects of executive arts leadership and frequently serves as a liaison with staff, artists, board members, institutional and government partners, consultants, and donors. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY CityParks Soccer teaches kids of all levels the basics of soccer in NYC parks through informal play and free instruction. Use of all equipment is provided. CPF is seeking to hire experienced college players, coaches or PE teachers to provide free soccer instruction to children in NYC parks this Spring, Summer and Fall. Spring and Fall classes will typically take place during afterschool hours or on weekends from 9am - 12pm. Summer classes will take place on weekdays 9:00am - 12:00pm. Instructors will be trained by CPF and will be seasonal employees of the CityParks Play Department. Our program sites are throughout NYC, however staff are usually assigned to work in their borough of residence. In 2024, CPF piloted an initiative with Nike to increase female participation and coaching opportunities in the program, including new sessions geared for girls ages 13-16. This initiative will continue to expand in 2025. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY City Parks Education has been offering interdisciplinary environmental education programs in schools and parks since 1992. The Coastal Classroom after-school program focuses on coastal ecology, water quality, urban waterfront restoration and preservation on the NYC waterfront, with sites in Inwood Hill Park in Manhattan, Bushwick Inlet Park in Williamsburg, Kaiser Park in Coney Island and Hallet's Cove Beach, Astoria, Queens. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Manager of Rental Events is responsible for developing and implementing a rental program for three venues managed by City Parks Foundation. Rental of these spaces provides much needed revenue that is used by City Parks Foundation to help support our free programs around New York City. During the summer season of approximately mid-May through early October, the schedule for this position will mirror the SummerStage event schedule, which includes evening and weekend hours. From mid-October through early May, the position will follow a hybrid office schedule, with two days per week in office, currently Wednesday & Thursday. The venues are: Rumsey Playfield in Central Park (90%): home to the Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage festival, a 5,500 capacity outdoor venue fully built out for concerts and other performances from mid-May through early October. POSITION DESCRIPTION City Parks Foundation (CPF) seeks a youth developer with experience in youth internships and the out-of-school time (OST) education field. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to cultivate strong relationships with CPF and Partnerships for Parks staff, key program partners, students and families. The manager, CCR, will lead CPF’s CCR program and will provide support in youth development principles and strategies to frontline staff with special attention to strengthening curricula, assessment and protocols relating to job readiness and socio-emotional learning. The position will require an innovative leader who can proactively and enthusiastically achieve the full potential of CPF’s youth and workforce development programming. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong connections in the youth and workforce development fields and provide a bridge to workforce and college networks and related social services for CityParks Learn, which runs programs primarily for historically marginalized and vulnerable NYC youth in all five boroughs.
