Job Description Contract Trade Support Analyst MUST be local to New York City Responsibilities: • Provide direct front office technology support to Equities traders, middle office users, and Compliance teams on the trading floor, • Monitor trading platforms and FIX network connectivity to ensure system stability and availability, • Diagnosing and resolve real time trading issues, including detailed investigation of compliance related inquiries, • Communicate major incidents, impacts, and resolution status clearly to key stakeholders and senior management, • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from traders, ensuring proper tracking, prioritization, and transparency, • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for vendor and internal development teams to deliver enhancements, • Share end to end business workflows with Support and QA teams to strengthen regression testing and operational readiness, • Over 5 years of experience supporting mission critical front office trading applications within Equities, including U.S. Market Making, ETFs, Electronic Trading, Global Program Trading, and Convertible Bonds, • Strong understanding of high touch trading workflows, FIX protocol, OMS platforms, IOI processing, market data, and CTM flows, Tidal or other scheduler systems, • Proven experience handling regulatory and compliance driven requests and inquiries, including Reg NMS, Reg SHO, CAT, ACT, ORF, and TRACE, • Proficient with, SQL querying, JIRA for issue tracking, and Excel for operational analysis and reporting, • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across front office, middle office, and control functions, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail, • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize and execute effectively in a fast paced, high pressure trading environment, • Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of drive and accountability, • Confident, dependable, and consistently reliable, • Proven ability to work independently on complex issues and projects, • Effective collaborator with strong teamwork skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, • Computer Science degree
