Job Details Job Location Arrowhead Products - Los Alamitos, CA Salary Range $26.67 - $26.67 Hourly Job Shift 2nd Shift Job Summary: This position will assist in the successful fabrication of Arrowhead Products Bellows Assembly. Tube Welder B is a combination of Tube Weld Tack and Tube Welder. In this position the welder will be running small stake welders on bellows only and working towards the goal of running all products as Tube Welder A. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • \n, • Must be able to tack on light gauge material .006-. l 00" using GTAW to feed machines.\n, • Must be able to set up and operate smaller stake welders for bellows only.\n, • Weld metal thicknesses from .006"-.180".\n, • Capable of identifying and correcting weld defects according to production standards and/or welding specifications.\n, • Perform at acceptable levels of quality and productivity on all welding assignments.\n, • Will read, identify, record from blueprints, pick lists, and x-ray numbers for traceability documentation per job requirement.\n, • Responsible for assisting the department in the development of techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput of products and to share job knowledge in the department.\n, • Will maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, FOO-free fashion and adhere to all Safety standards.\n, • This job description is not all inclusive of all duties. \n\n Education and Experience: • \n, • High School Diploma or equivalent; previous manufacturing experience may be substituted for education requirement.\n, • *Employees must bid into these classifications before progression is allowed to higher levels.\n\n Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: • Ability to interpret blueprints, weld symbols, engineering drawings and specifications necessary to perform welding task correctly.\n, • 1 year experience machine fusion welding or fusion welding process.\n, • Must be able to set up GTAW equipment.\n, • Ability to use standard manufacturing measuring instruments such as calipers, pin calipers, micrometers, tape measures, scales, height gauges, depth gauges, etc.\n, • Must be capable of working with tight tolerances such as+ or - .00 l".\n, • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.\n, • Ability to perform quality work in a safe and efficient manner.\n\n\n Page l of 3 Supervisory Responsibilities: • NIA Physical Demands: • Frequent lifting of up to 35 lbs.\n, • Frequent pushing and pulling.\n, • Bend, stoop, squat occasionally.\n, • Sit, stand and walk frequently.\n, • Talk and listen frequently.\n, • Occasional use of computer.\n, • Must be able to pass visual acuity exam with 20/30 or better either corrected or uncorrected in each eye.\n Limitations and Disclaimer: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.
