Climbing Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance. During delivery of product, navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required.Stooping/Bending Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station. Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients. Crouching/Squatting Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas. Reaching Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward. Job Summary Summary: Cuts, trims and prepares meat for use in food production or sale in retail establishments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Works directly with supplier representative(s) to determine order details and price., • Receives, inspects and stores meat in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards., • Records and tracks quantity of meat received and issued to cooks and/or keeps records of meat sales., • Estimates requirements and orders or requisitions meat supplies to maintain inventories., • Cuts, trims, bones, ties and grinds meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish, to prepare for cooking; cures, smokes, tenderizes and preserves meat., • Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, display and storage areas, supplies and utensils within work area., • Handles foods items with safety regulations in mind during preparation and service., • Prepares and places meat cuts and products in display counter., • Prepares custom cuts of meat as ordered by customers or for meals., • Shapes, laces and ties roasts using boning knife, skewer and twine., • Wraps, weighs, labels and prices cuts of meat., • Totals sales and collect money from customers.
