Location: Fort Worth, TX 76126 Employment Type: Full-Time | 3035 hours per week Schedule: • School Year (September - May): Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM during the school year, with some flexibility as household needs arise., • Summer Months (June - early August): The family anticipates the summer schedule evolving over time as they determine where support is most valuable after working together., • Bonus: Occasional overnight support (1-4 nights), every 2-3 months when parents travel Compensation: $40$45 per hour, commensurate with experience. Start Date: September 2026 • Maintain a smoke-free environment., • Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license required., • CPR and First Aid certification required (willingness to obtain upon hire is acceptable)., • Must be comfortable working in a home with a small dog., • Must be authorized to work in the United States. Our home is beautifully organized with thoughtful systems already in place, and we're looking for someone who enjoys maintaining that standard every day. While we have a weekly housekeeper who handles deep cleaning, a landscaper, and an executive assistant who supports our business and coordinates much of our travel, this role is the heartbeat of our home. From keeping the household running beautifully to anticipating needs before they arise, you'll play an essential role in making our family's day-to-day life feel lighter and more manageable. We also have a tiny, beloved senior dachshund who recently had back surgery and is spoiled accordinglyshe's very much one of the family. More than anything, we're looking for someone kind, dependable, humble, and quietly confident. Laundry & Linens • Wash, fold, and put away laundry for the entire family, following the family's specific preferences for how items are handled, • Take off bedding and remake beds and refresh towels on a weekly basis, • Coordinate dry cleaning pickup and drop-off; receive and put away items on return, • Maintain tidy, well-stocked laundry rooms (there are two: one upstairs for the kids, one downstairs for the primary suite) Household Organization & Maintenance • Perform a full daily reset of the home: dishes, surfaces, light vacuuming of high-traffic areas, trash, • Maintain and uphold the existing organizational systems throughout the home; restock containers and supplies as needed, • Reset outdoor spaces regularly: patio furniture, pool area, sports equipment, beach towels, • Identify and address household hot spots (kitchen counter/bar area, garage), • Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors; be present to let them in and ensure work is completed properly, • Handle light handyman tasks: replacing batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, and similar items; make runs to the hardware store as needed Deep Cleaning & Special Projects • Handle deep cleaning tasks not covered by the weekly house cleaner: refrigerators (multiple), oven, baseboards, and similar, • Clear and reset kitchen counters and garage on a weekly basis, • Take on organizational projects as they come up, • Assist with seasonal or holiday prep as needed (a decorator handles primary holiday installations) Inventory & Errands • Maintain and restock all household fridges weekly (pantry fridge, upstairs media room fridge, home office fridge, bar fridge -- each with its own distinct inventory), • Manage running household supply lists; restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies on an ongoing basis, • Handle Amazon, Costco, and Target orders; bring in packages daily, open and put items away, break down boxes for recycling, • Handle returns (reboxing, label printing, FedEx/UPS drop-off), • Sort and flag important mail for the household, • Occasional gift shopping as needed Meal Support • Shop for groceries weekly, ideally consolidating across preferred stores (Whole Foods for produce and healthy items; Target for kids' snacks and household staples), • Prepare approximately 23 dinners per week: healthy, balanced meals with a protein, vegetable, starch, and bread component; one-pot meals are welcome, • Ensure fresh produce and cut fruit are stocked and prepped weekly, • Organize groceries in the fridge upon return from shopping, • Support event and dinner party prep: setting the table, staging linens and glassware, coordinating with the family's prospective chef; handle cleanup the following day, • Dietary note: One family member has a severe seafood allergy and does not eat gluten.
