Job DescriptionBenefits: • Bonus based on performance Door-to-door, dry van, flatbed, heavy haul, and transportation. Oversized freight agent / Sales Representative. BE PART OF OUR LANDSTAR RANGER INC FAMILY! We are looking for experienced Agents in door-to-door freight transportation to and from Mexico, the United States, and Canada using Dry Van, Flatbed, Heavy Transport, and Oversized Transport, with at least 5 years of experience, with or without an established book of business. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS • Must have a minimum of 2 years of logistics experience with Dry Van, Flatbed, Heavy Haul, and Oversized Cargo., • Verifiable book of business., • Established customer base with drive and motivation to continuously grow., • Ability to work in a competitive, fast-paced industry., • High level of organizational and follow-up skills., • Strong negotiation and influence skills., • Sales-focused: strong strategy and positive attitude., • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications and able to work with industry-specific applications and management systems., • Transportation or related sales experience preferred., • Previous experience in freight brokerage, inside sales prospecting, or B2B customer service is a major plus., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Proven track record of building customer relationships resulting in high customer satisfaction., • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills., • Strong analytical, presentation, written/oral communication, and organizational skills., • Ability to meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals., • Proficiency in MS Office software., • Bachelors degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred., • Ability to HUNT, FIND, and SECURE NEW ACCOUNTS., • Must be able to work independently and successfully., • Must be entrepreneurial and highly motivated., • EXPERIENCE IN THE LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY IS REQUIRED, • Focus on securing freight transactions, including scheduling and tracking shipments, negotiating with carriers, and handling customer inquiries., • May be involved in prospecting new customers, securing transportation, connecting carriers with customers, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and carriers., • Additional tasks may include preparing spreadsheets and reports., • Develop relationships between shippers and carriers to execute transactions efficiently, timely, and with a high level of customer satisfaction., • Sales when required (in-person and cold calling)., • Ability to respond to customer quote requests and secure trucks., • Must have strong truck-tracking capabilities in the U.S. and Mexico with specialized equipment., • Manage freight for existing and new customers., • Generate new freight transportation opportunities., • Driver dispatching., • Strong ability to interact with and influence others. Attention to detail and commitment to customer service are essential. Most business is conducted by phone, but occasional face-to-face sales are required., • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage time and resources effectively., • Ability to multitask and track multiple shipments for numerous clients., • Excellent written and verbal communication., • Deliver growth results while maintaining margin integrity., • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment., • Sense of urgency (delivering consistent customer service).Schedule, • 10-hour shifts, • 8-hour shifts, • Day shift, • Monday to Friday, • On-call, • Overtime, • Weekend availability
