Summary: To provide exceptional customer service and expertise in truck parts and accessories. Assist customers in identifying, recommending, and purchasing parts essential for optimizing their trucks to meet specific needs and applications. Key Responsibilities: • Customer Service and Sales:, • Greet customers, understand their requirements, and offer assistance in selecting appropriate parts and accessories for their trucks., • Provide accurate and detailed information regarding product features, specifications, pricing, and availability., • Recommend compatible and complementary parts to maximize truck performance and functionality., • Process sales transactions, handle inquiries, and resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive buying experience., • Focus on increasing sales for the store front, which includes reaching out to local truck fleet companies to drive new business., • Product Knowledge and Expertise:, • Develop a comprehensive understanding of truck parts, accessories, and upfitting options available in the market., • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new product releases to effectively advise customers., • Collaborate with the product management team to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information., • Inventory Management:, • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of popular parts and accessories., • Perform regular stock checks, track product movement, and coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed., • Keep the display area organized and presentable to enhance the customer shopping experience., • Order Processing and Logistics:, • Facilitate timely order processing, shipping, and delivery of parts to customers., • Generate accurate invoices, process payments, and maintain orderly records of transactions., • Handle some logistics for large shipments., • Customer Education and Support:, • Educate customers on the benefits and proper usage of purchased parts, offering guidance and assistance as required., • Provide after-sales support by addressing any post-purchase concerns and providing information on warranties, returns, and exchanges., • Cross-functional Collaboration:, • Collaborate with the sales team, upfitting specialists, and management to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful project outcomes., • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant sales or automotive industry experience preferred., • Proven track record in sales or customer service roles, preferably in the automotive or truck upfitting sector., • Strong knowledge of truck parts, accessories, and upfitting options, including familiarity with various truck models and brands., • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills., • Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software. Work Environment This position works in a warehouse and shop setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand truck, box cutters, and tape dispensers. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.
