Job Description General Dentist – Middletown, New York Position Type & Schedule • Full-Time, • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, • Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, productive, and patient-focused General Dentist to join our established practice in Middletown, New York. Compensation & Benefits • $800–$1,000 daily guarantee, • 35% of adjusted collections, • Monthly compensation true-up, • Initial 90-day guarantee period, • Malpractice reimbursement or health insurance contribution, • 401(k) retirement plan, • Strong long-term earning potential, • Potential opportunity for true equity and future practice ownership for a high-performing provider Practice Overview • Established 5-chair dental practice, • Primarily PPO patient base, • Diverse and established community patient population, • Comprehensive general dentistry, • Strong emphasis on comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning, • Experienced administrative and clinical support, • Part of a growing multi-location dental organization, • Opportunity for long-term professional and ownership growth Technology & Clinical Support The practice provides a modern digital workflow including: • Dentrix practice management software, • Digital radiography, • Digital panoramic imaging, • Medit i700 intraoral scanner, • Dedicated dental assistant support, • Experienced front-office and administrative team Key Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning, • Provide preventive, restorative, and comprehensive general dentistry, • Perform endodontic procedures appropriate to the provider's clinical abilities, • Perform routine and surgical extractions, • Understand implant dentistry and incorporate implant treatment appropriately into comprehensive treatment planning, • Develop long-term treatment strategies rather than focusing solely on individual or emergent dental concerns, • Educate patients regarding treatment options, preventive care, and long-term oral health, • Communicate treatment recommendations clearly and effectively to encourage informed patient decisions, • Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to provide an efficient and positive patient experience, • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, • Build lasting patient relationships through excellent communication and high-quality clinical care Minimum Qualifications • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school, • Active New York dental license in good standing or ability to obtain, • Current CPR certification, • Strong comprehensive diagnosis and treatment-planning abilities, • Proficiency in bread-and-butter restorative dentistry, • Comfortable performing endodontics and surgical extractions, • Strong communication and patient relationship skills Experience Requirements: • Prior clinical experience strongly preferred, • Must be comfortable practicing independently and managing a comprehensive general dentistry schedule, • Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates are highly preferred Ideal Candidate We are looking for a dentist who: • Thinks comprehensively when diagnosing and treatment planning, • Is productive without sacrificing quality of care, • Is comfortable providing a broad range of general dental procedures, • Can confidently perform endodontics and surgical extractions, • Understands implant dentistry and can incorporate implants into appropriate treatment plans, even if they do not personally place them, • Builds trust with patients and effectively communicates comprehensive treatment recommendations, • Is dependable, motivated, and interested in becoming a long-term member of the practice, • Has an entrepreneurial mindset and may eventually be interested in practice ownership Practice Environment Our organization is continuing to grow and is focused on developing strong practices led by clinicians who value comprehensive dentistry, patient relationships, and long-term professional growth.
