Job Details Compensation: Hourly base pay range is $14 per hour plus tips. Actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, or training and location. Work Schedule: Overnight shift. Summary The Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services to guests, maintains a friendly and professional demeanor, parks and retrieves vehicles, and assists with luggage and guest requests. Essential Functions Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co‑workers, and clients. Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor. Use a salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location. Practice proper phone etiquette. Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks. Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed, and opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries. Provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, and facility amenities, and main attractions in the area. Delivers messages, items, or guest amenities as requested. Shuttles guests to approved locations. Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival, issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys, and collects claim checks from all guests before issuing keys. Maintains ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts. Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED. Required Licensure, Certification, etc.: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment. Work Experience: One month related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Skills: Ability to read and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings; perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) involving US currency; understand 24‑hour and military time; understand applicable rates; manual transmission operation and parallel parking are desirable. Scope Authority to Act: The job is routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures, with frequent verification and basic operational decisions. Budget Responsibility: The employee has control over only the resources available. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Work requires frequent sitting or standing for extended periods, running, walking, handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Physical Requirements The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly may be necessary to move objects.
