Job DescriptionJob Overview This position requires the capability to perform general household cleaning and repairs in the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire alarm and painting. This position also involves property maintenance, fleet management, and purchasing & delivery of supplies to programs. Duties and Responsibilities • Embodies Eva’s Village’s core values, voice and tone in order to provide an exceptional and effective experience for our clients, funders, employees and volunteers., • Responsible for the completion of daily work orders for maintenance of all buildings of Eva’s Village, as deemed appropriate by the Director of Facilities., • Responsible for the preparation of all buildings for state inspections and completion of all punch lists based on the directives of the Director of Facilities, • Responsible for the general household cleaning and disinfection of areas deemed necessary., • Responsible for following appropriate protocols for housekeeping duties., • Responsible for taking safety measures at all buildings during inclement weather., • Participates in vehicle fleet management as requested by the Director of Facilities., • Participates in purchasing and delivery of supplies to programs and buildings., • Other duties and responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the supervisor. Qualifications & Experience • High School diploma or equivalent, • Must be able to follow instructions and work independently, • Must be able to perform minor building and plumbing repairs, • Must be available when circumstances require extra time, • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
