Job DescriptionController - HVAC Controller Position Overview The Controller will oversee all financial and accounting activities for the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's objectives. This role is integral in budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining financial integrity across departments, particularly within the HVAC industry. Key Responsibilities • Manage all aspects of the accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting., • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency., • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial projections., • Conduct cost accounting to analyze operational costs and improve financial performance., • Coordinate and manage audit processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements., • Oversee inventory accounting and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making., • Drive team leadership and development within the finance department, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture., • Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, and Epicor Eclipse for financial reporting and analysis.Qualifications, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred., • Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role, preferably in the HVAC industry., • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards., • Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies., • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Epicor Eclipse) and advanced Excel skills., • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and collaboration., • Highly Competitive Compensation Package ($150-170k DOE), • Healthcare Coverage - Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, • 401(k) matching, • Health Savings Account, • Life Insurance, • PTO, • Relocation Assistance, • Opportunities for Career Advancement - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
