Job Description Passaic County Community College is seeking candidates to teach in the ELS Reading and Writing Labs in both day and evening schedules. Specific Functions: • The candidate will teach assigned ELS lab classes following the ELS Lab Academic Calendar and syllabus., • Meet lab sessions as scheduled for the full period., • Maintain accurate student attendance/grade records and submit them to the Director of ELS Tutoring Services when requested., • Utilize the appropriate technology to fulfill teaching duties., • Teaching experience is required, • Master's in ESL, English, Teaching or related field required The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate. Compensation: The minimum pay for this position is $25 per hour. Benefits: • New Jersey Sick Leave: Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year.
