Job Description Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm with over 1,000 legal and business professionals across eighteen offices, is seeking an Events Manager to join our team. The Events Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing in-person, virtual, and hybrid events across the firm. This role oversees the full event lifecycle, from initial request and concept through execution and post-event analysis, working closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, high-impact experiences that align with firm strategic goals and brand standards. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the planning and execution of in-person, virtual and hybrid event planning and execution firmwide, from request and concept through execution and post-event evaluation., • Organize and manage all event logistics, including but not limited to staffing, registration, venue sourcing and contracting, transportation, lodging, branded merchandise, catering, décor, audio-visual production, and guest experience., • Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related communications, ensuring alignment across all internal and external stakeholders., • Develop and maintain detailed event documentation, including run-of-show and process documents in support of events., • Provide on-site and virtual support as needed at various FBT offices or offsite locations to ensure the smooth execution of all events., • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to manage event technology efforts related to the full production process, audio-visual requirements, and accessible event tools., • Negotiate and manage contracts with venues, vendors and service providers; ensure competitive pricing and compliance with firm policies., • Maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate performance to ensure service excellence and cost efficiency., • Source and recommend appropriate venues based on event requirements, audience and budget; maintain venue and vendor database., • Collaborate with practice groups, industry teams, and business development professionals to ensure event goals align with broader firm marketing and client engagement strategies., • Manage post-event evaluation, including data collections, attendee feedback, ROI analysis, and internal debriefs., • Track, report and reconcile event budgets; monitor spend against forecasts and identify cost-saving opportunities., • Identify and implement best practices to continuously improve the quality, inclusivity, and effectiveness of the firm's event program., • Promote inclusive event planning by incorporating diversity, equity, and accessibility principles in event formats, speakers, content, and logistics., • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by motivating employees, promoting teamwork, and maintaining high levels of engagement and job satisfaction., • Provide continuous coaching and mentorship to direct reports, offering constructive feedback to support professional growth and skill development., • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, project management, communications, or relevant field required., • CMP, PMEP, PCMA or similar event planning certification strongly preferred., • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional event planning position required, including experience planning and supporting large-scale events with 350+ attendees., • Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment strongly desired., • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex tasks, shifting priorities, and multiple deadlines with efficiency and accuracy., • Exceptional client service and teamwork skills., • Strong planning, organization, and project management skills., • Ability to build, manage and adhere to event budgets and timelines., • Strong experience with CRM software to manage event lists and RSVP tracking and reporting., • Assertive communicator with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, business professionals, and vendors., • Committed to high quality with professionalism and flexibility., • Independent self-starter capable of managing and prioritizing multiple events and responsibilities., • Ability to handle stressful situations and interact diplomatically with stakeholders at all levels in the firm., • Ability to make sound decisions, adapt to changing work situations, and quickly grasp and apply new ideas., • Demonstrated sound judgment and the ability to escalate issues appropriately to ensure successful event execution and ROI., • Willingness to work flexible hours and take on various assignments to help meet departmental goals. The pay range for this role accounts for the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. For applicants physically based in Denver, a reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $95,000 - $115,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, relevant experience and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.
