Scribes assist providers throughout the patient care journey - huddling each morning to plan for the day's visits, joining them in the exam room to observe and document, and touching base after the visit to assist with next steps. Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screens patients for appropriation information. Instruct patients in collection of samples and tests., • Maintains/reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information. Posts tests and examination results., • Responds to/refers incoming patient treatment-related phone calls.
