About the Role The National Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets. This role involves managing Turtle’s national customer’s expectations by working with the national account managers and the national project managers by providing quotes, bill of materials, and solutions while setting sales goals, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the sales team's alignment with the company's overall objectives. What You'll Do: • Sales Strategy and Planning:, • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives., • Set clear and measurable sales targets, both short-term and long-term, and create actionable plans to achieve them., • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt the sales strategy as needed., • Review and understand the Project Engineering contract documents., • Read and interpret SLD, data sheet, specifications and other project-related documents such as building layout, equipment plan view, and electrical schematics., • Provide value engineered solutions tailored to the customers’ design intent., • Support all BESS projects nationally., • Team Leadership and Management:, • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales department., • Mentors junior Engineers, switchgear specialists and project managers, • Revenue Generation:, • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding market reach, and maximizing sales to existing customers., • Develop and nurture relationships with key clients and partners to secure strategic accounts and partnerships., • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to meet or exceed revenue targets., • Sales Operations:, • Oversee all aspects of sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting., • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure product market fit and effective sales strategies., • Implement and manage sales technologies and tools to optimize sales processes and efficiency., • Budget Management:, • Develop and manage the project budget while allocating resources to effectively support sales objectives., • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Master's degree preferred)., • Professional Engineering membership, P. Eng or P.E, is preferred, • Proven track record of successful sales leadership with a minimum of [5] years of experience in sales management and [5] years in a senior leadership role., • Strong understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and industry trends., • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills., • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems., • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions., • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities., • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
