luncheons, trade shows, award dinners, etc., • Entertain clients as necessary to drive business and close sales, • Partner with business development and Vice President in pursuit of all sales Estimating Proficiency:, • Accurate sketching of affected areas and use of Matterport technology., • Time and Material (T&M) / Xactimate knowledge (need to be able to explain the T&M bill file & justify Xactimate line items), • Ability to estimate a project to fit all target margins per the service provided Customer Satisfaction:, • Consistent weekly communication with all stakeholders (external and internal), • Setting expectations upfront with the customer, • Holding teams accountable to provide updates, • Check in with the customer throughout the project, • Email communication should have all stakeholders on the thread Working and coordinating with internal teams: Mitigation, • Coordinate to get the work authorization signed so we can respond timely, • Walking the job with the technician team to define the scope of work, • Share client feedback/changes in scope, • Review daily T&M sheets with the Mitigation operations team, • Work directly with the Mitigation operations team, • Site visit at completion to confirm all work is completed per client expectations Reconstruction, • Project Kick Offs confirming scope of work and target budget / margin, • Constant communication with the Project Manager (PM) throughout the course of the project, • Work with the PM to get timely change orders submitted for approval, • Work with the PM to send weekly updates Business Development, • Communicate with the Business Development Manager (BD) about the new opportunity to get it into Salesforce timely, • Keep the BD on all email communication with the mutual client, • Update the BD on all changes to the project timely, • Help the BD update the NTO list that you are both working Project Accountants, • Oversee completed work authorizations so the PA can get the job into Vista, • Work with the PA to send out invoices, • Work with the PA to upload change orders QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:, • 5+ years of Recent marketing/business development and sales experience in the restoration or construction industry with a proven track record of sales growth, • Extensive Construction estimating and/or large loss and catastrophe experience, • Must be able to attend Business Development networking functions 2-3 evenings a week, • Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills, • Experience utilizing Xactimate and other estimating software preferred, • Experience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn preferred, • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, • Strong knowledge of project management, financial processes, and administration required, • Strong business ethics, integrity, and the ability to perform in highly autonomous environments required, • OSHA 10 or 30, CPR and First Aid certifications preferred EDUCATION:, • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience related to the role is preferred TRAVEL:, • Minimal out of state travel is required. Key Responsibilities but not limited to: Oversee All Electoral Work • Develop and manage the process of evaluating candidates and organizations’ request for political endorsements, • Coordinate MRA-NJ’s involvement in federal, state and local races, including independent expenditure, • Direct the work of the Canvass Manager to support MRA-NJ’s electoral and policy goals, • Brief staff on political program and goals, • Create and oversee the organization’s electoral and policy budget, • Serve as the point of contact for all legislative work; engage elected officials, labor, and community to support MRNJ’s issues and campaigns, • Serve as registered lobbyist and monitor bills, • Build political support for the organization’s campaigns, including organizing political field activities, • Advocate for members in the annual budget process in state and local governments where members work and live, • Draft legislation on behalf of members and work with elected officials to pass the legislation, • Participate as MRNJ representative in strategic coalitions and strategic issue campaigns with other community organizations, • Direct the work of the Communications Manager preparing and executing communications to further strategic campaigns, • Prepare research reports as needed for background; prepare for and participate actively in campaign strategy meetings; develop messaging for political communications, • Grow the MRA-NJ committee of members who vet candidates for endorsements Requirements: • Eligible to work in the US, • At least 5+ years experience in issue advocacy, community organizing, labor, and/or related fields required; experience organizing with immigrant and/or working class communities is strongly preferred, • 5+ years experience managing organizing, political, professional staff, campaign, communications and organizing teams, from recruitment to retainment, • Relentless commitment to collective action and community organizing, • Knowledge of the New Jersey Legislature preferred., • Experience working in a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic work environment, • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and complete assignments under strict deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment, • Working knowledge of spreadsheets, Microsoft Office suite, and using a database to run reports, • Proficiency (fluency preferred) in both English and Spanish., • Associate degree or higher., • Excellent interpersonal skills, • Excellent verbal communication skills, • Ability to manage and motivate a large team, • Ability to identify, recruit, train and retain staff, • Short-term and long-term strategic planning skills, • Experience in Excel, Word, e-mail and database programs, • Must be willing and flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed., • Desire to work collaboratively and independently, • Must be able to clearly articulate the mission and political context for MRNJ’s work., • Must have a valid driver’s license., • Analytical Thinking, • Problem/Situation Analysis, • Problem Solving Ability, • System-Oriented, • Balanced Decision Making, • Emotional Control, • Attention to Detail, • Project/Task and Goals Focus, • Objective Listening, • Attitude Toward Others, • Flexibility, • Accountability for Others, • Respect for Policies, • Personal Accountability, • Meeting Standards, • Team Player, • Excellent written and verbal communication MRStates offers an excellent benefit package including health insurance, 401K, and generous paid vacation, sick, personal days.
