Location: New York, NY HYBRID Our client, a global AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a talented and intellectually curious Associate Attorney with substantial real estate joint venture experience to join its elite Global Finance practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated equity transactions, acquisitions, and borrower-side financings with some of the most prominent players in the commercial real estate and private equity space. • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record., • Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing., • 5+ years of substantive experience in real estate law, including significant exposure to joint venture agreements and borrower-side financings., • Demonstrated experience advising on acquisitions, dispositions, and fund-level transactions involving institutional asset managers and private equity sponsors., • Highly capable of managing complex deal documentation independently., • Experience with REITs, leasing, and inbound investments is a plus., • Large law firm experience strongly preferred., • Soft Skills: Strong legal writing, communication, and problem-solving skills, with an exceptional attention to detail, are essential. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, a proactive worker, and a collaborative team member., • Advise institutional investors, fund sponsors, and private equity clients on a wide range of real estate investments and joint venture equity arrangements., • Draft and negotiate complex joint venture, financing, and acquisition agreements across various asset classes., • Manage transactions from initial structuring through closing, working closely with clients, opposing counsel, and internal deal teams., • Support clients through the lifecycle of real estate investments, including restructurings, asset management issues, and exit strategies. Competitive Salary: $365,000+, commensurate with experience and class year.
