Job Description Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Seamstress with formal wear experience to join our team. As a Thimble Seamstress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing alterations and repairs on garments at your home workspace. Requirements: * You must own a sewing machine at home, as this is a work from home position. * At least 3 Years experience as a seamstress/performing formal dress alterations. * Proven experience working with Bridal, Prom or Evening Dresses is preferred. * Proficiency in using sewing machines and other alteration tools. * Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements. * Basic math skills for measuring and calculating fabric requirements. * Ability to maintain high-quality standards. * Strong communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities: * Perform alterations and repairs on garments, including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, working with multiple laters and replacing buttons or zippers. * Use sewing machines, hand tools, and other equipment to complete tailoring tasks. * Provide exceptional customer service by assisting our customers with fitting and ensuring their satisfaction with the finished product. * Take accurate measurements from customers during fittings. * Maintain a clean and organized work area at home where the work is done. Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dependable seamstress to join out fast-paced production team. This position focuses on the construction, alteration, and finishing of custom garments with a string emphasis on quality and attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble and finish garments., • Sew and attach patches, chenille, embroidery backings, zippers, trims, and embellishments., • Perform garment alterations including hemming, resizing, and repairs., • Read and follow work orders, measurements, and production instructions., • Inspect finished pieces for quality, accuracy, and durability., • Maintain a clean and organized workstation., • Meet daily production deadlines while maintaining consistent quality., • Communicate with production managers regarding workflow and materials needs. Qualifications:, • Previous sewing or seamstress experience (industrial machine experience preferred)., • Ability to sew a variety of fabrics including wool, leather, knits, and specialty materials., • Strong attentio to detail and pride in craftmaship., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines., • Experience with custom garments or patches is a plus.
