This position is responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful statistics, information, and explanations. The Data Analyst assists the Finance department with analyzing accounting data. Responsibilities: • Collect, clean, analyze and interpret business performance data, including sales performance (monthly & ad hoc) and client support metrics (quarterly & ad hoc). Prepare clear, actionable reports for management and relevant stakeholders, • Support company-wide KPI analysis, including database maintenance, raw data processing, and analytical support for cross functional operational needs, • Utilize data analytics and quantitative skills to analyze key financial and operational data; create charts, dashboards, and visual reports to enhance decision making and understanding, • Collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance teams to support the analysis of accounting and financial data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across reporting, • Code, verify, and record charges, rates, and billing information in the appropriate financial systems; prepare invoices, revenue or expenditure summaries, and documentation for internal and external submissions, • Process and manage ACH transactions and assist with payment-related workflows in accordance with company policies and controls, • Assist in processing automation and system improvements, including streamlining manual workflows and supporting the setup of new tools or system interfaces, • Prepare reports and statements for internal management, cross-functional projects, and external stakeholders as required, • Assist the Chief Financial Officer and senior accounting staff with quarterly and ad hoc stakeholder reporting and analysis, • Handle confidential data and sensitive information in strict accordance with company guidelines, compliance requirements, and internal controls, • Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer!, • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field is required, • Experience with using software such as Tableau, Excel, and VBA, • 2-3 years of experience working in analytics and finance teams, • Able to take initiative to solve problem effectively, • Self-motivated to learn new systems and softwares, • Able to accomplish tasks before deadlines and be detail-oriented, • Able to work efficiently as part of a team and as an individual At Let’s Go uP, we are an equal employment opportunity employer.
