AUDITION DETAILS We will be hosting auditions in late-June and will reach out directly with specifics ASAP TRAINING PROGRAM DETAILS We will be hosting our next training intensive in July-August and will share details upon acceptance into the intensive. Job Description FITNESS FACTORY SmallGroupTraining INSTRUCTOR JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direct supervision of the Fitness Manager, the Fitness Manager provides group fitness instruction to instructor, monitors, educates members on fitness and safety, and maintains a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for class participants. SMALL GROUP TRAINING CLASS DUTIES: • Teaches scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time., • Provide adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cool down., • Instructs members on effective workout methods; explains proper techniques, demonstrates exercises; identifies different muscle groups, and teaches appropriate methods to strengthen specific muscles., • Prepares appropriate equipment, music, and handouts for each class., • Assist members, answer questions, and maintain a positive exercise experience for members and class participants., • Keep management informed of customer and facility needs., • Ensures that safety standards are met, and that department and facility policies are adhered to. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: • Must be at least 18 years of age., • Must possess current Red Cross CPR certification., • Certified Instructor (ACE, AFAA) or equivalent., • Additional specialty/certifications preferred.
