Under the general direction of the IT Service Desk Supervisor, the Firm Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining comprehensive training programs that support legal, administrative, and technical staff. Responsibilities span new hire onboarding, ongoing education, project support, content development, and system administration. The specialist ensures all training content aligns with global standards and contributes to consistent and engaging learning experiences across departments. Responsibilities and Duties: • Design, develop, and deliver end-user training programs, including New Hire Orientation, software education, and on-demand instruction., • Create and manage onboarding and learning paths for new hires and continuous staff development across departments., • Ensure training programs are consistent across departments, aligning content, delivery methods, and materials with firmwide standards., • Provide instructor-led and virtual training sessions, both scheduled and on-demand, tailored to departmental needs and user skill levels., • Assess user skill gaps and adapt training programs to meet evolving needs., • Maintain and update training documentation, including user guides, handouts, job aids, FAQs, technology tips, and eLearning modules., • Collaborate with IT team members to develop and maintain documentation that supports IT policies and procedures., • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) by:, • Managing user accounts, training assignments, and structured learning paths, • Tracking participation and analyzing training effectiveness, • Incorporating third-party courseware in partnership with vendors, • Maintain TL&D content repositories and support global training standardization and alignment., • Collaborate with departments to assess training needs, identify gaps, evaluate program effectiveness, and support long-term learning strategies., • Support technology rollouts and upgrades through training, documentation, testing, and user readiness activities., • Partner with IT and business leaders to drive change management through education and training., • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field., • Experience with LegalMind LMS or similar learning management platforms., • Strong facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills., • Skilled in creating effective training materials, content, and documentation., • Organized, self-directed, and responsive to evolving organization needs., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Final rate of pay and title will be commensurate with the incumbent’s experience, with a targeted hiring range of $90,000 - $125,000 (the upper range reserved for highly qualified applicants). This position is currently available in either our NY, CT, or DC office locations.
