This role involves building candidate pipelines, conducting initial candidate screenings, coordinating interviews, and creating an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through offer and pre-employment. If you've worked in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoy balancing relationship-building with organized, efficient process management, we want you on our team. 3 Key Responsibilities 1. Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Management • Build and maintain a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates across multiple markets, • Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, networking, industry associations, and direct outreach, • Develop and maintain talent pools aligned with current and future expansion markets, • Proactively identify candidates for leadership, studio, and corporate support roles, • Build relationships with passive candidates for future hiring needs, • Identify sourcing strategies and recommend adjustments to recruiting processes based on pipeline data, candidate quality, and hiring outcomes. 1. Candidate Screening & Selection • Conduct initial phone and virtual interviews, independently evaluating candidates against role requirements, experience, leadership potential, communication skills, compensation expectations, availability, and organizational fit., • Prepare structured candidate summaries and informed recommendations for hiring managers based on candidate qualifications and role requirements., • Ensure qualified candidates move efficiently through the interview process, • Represent Vertex Fitness Group, JETSET Pilates, and Mathnasium professionally, delivering a responsive, high-touch candidate experience from application through hiring, • Promote company culture, values, and growth opportunities to prospective employees 1. Recruiting Operations & Reporting • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including workflows, candidate stages, automations, job postings, and documentation of all candidate communications, • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring timely communication throughout the process, • Assist with offer letter preparation and pre-employment onboarding coordination, following up with hiring managers to keep positions moving, • Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, pipeline health, candidate conversion rates, and sourcing effectiveness, • Prepare weekly recruiting reports and pipeline updates for leadership, monitoring open requisitions and supporting continuous improvement of recruiting processes Must Have: • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or recruiting coordination, with hands-on experience in sourcing and candidate screening, • Experience recruiting for fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, education, franchising, or other multi-location/multi-unit organizations, • Experience recruiting for instructor, coach, studio, customer-facing, operational, or similar people-focused roles, • Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, direct outreach, and/or other recruiting platforms, • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (Lever or Paylocity preferred), • Strong interviewing, screening, and candidate assessment skills, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through, • Strong project management and prioritization skills, • Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, • Self-starter who thrives in a growth-oriented organization Nice to Have: • Experience recruiting for leadership, management, or specialized operational roles, • Experience supporting rapid growth or new market expansion, • Experience recruiting for both hourly and salaried positions, • Familiarity with distributed or multi-location teams, • Experience building talent pipelines for recurring or future hiring needs, • Experience tracking recruiting metrics and preparing pipeline reports for leadership About JETSET Pilates Vertex Fitness Group owns and operates JETSET Pilates® studios across Northern Virginia, Chicago, and the Twin Cities.
