OVERVIEW Movement Strategy is looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Creative Director, Copy to lead social-first, culturally fluent creative for a high-profile music account. Reporting to the Group Creative Director, you'll set the creative vision for the pod—pushing craft, guiding a team of writers and makers, and delivering work that feels unmistakably of the moment. This role sits at the intersection of music, culture, and community, and requires ongoing collaboration with Spanish-speaking artists, partners, and stakeholders to shape ideas that resonate across Latin and rotational markets. You are a seasoned creative thinker and writer with deep social agency experience and a strong portfolio of breakthrough work. You're equally comfortable pitching a campaign to senior clients, building creative platforms from scratch, concepting alongside art partners, or coaching writers to do the best work of their careers. KEY FOCUS AREAS Creative Leadership: • Lead and inspire multidisciplinary creative teams across levels—writers, art directors, designers, production, and cross-functional partners., • Serve as a model of creative excellence, elevating craft and storytelling across all outputs., • Lead complex conversations with larger inter-agency teams., • Champion innovation across social platforms—developing breakthrough ideas, content formats, and campaign approaches rooted in culture., • Steer ideation and creative development across multiple projects simultaneously., • Own the creative direction for assigned accounts, translating insights and brand truths into bold, resonant creative platforms., • Run and oversee reviews, providing clear, actionable feedback to ensure excellence in execution., • Partner with Strategy, Account, C&E, Paid Media, Design, Influencer, and Program Management to deliver integrated, high-performing creative., • Create alignment across teams, ensuring storytelling is cohesive across visual and written elements., • Act as the senior creative partner for clients, leading presentations, guiding strategic discussions, and providing decisive recommendations., • Foster strong, trust-based client relationships that allow for courageous creative solutions., • Build, mentor, and develop creative talent, offering coaching, support, and clear expectations., • Conduct performance evaluations and help team members grow in their craft and careers., • Set and uphold uncompromising standards of creative excellence., • Ensure teams deliver error-free work on time and on strategy., • Partner with Creative Leadership to manage creative resourcing, project scoping, and efficiency across teams., • Lead creative concepting for major pitch opportunities., • Serve as the Creative Lead within the POD, owning the creative vision and output across client workstreams., • Drive POD-level planning, scoping, resourcing, and workflow management., • Represent the creative discipline in POD rituals (intakes, reviews, planning cycles, syncs) and ensure creative is strategically aligned. QUALIFICATIONS • 10+ years of experience as a copywriter and creative leader within a social-first or advertising agency., • Strong portfolio showcasing standout conceptual thinking, campaigns, and platform-native social work., • Deep experience leading creative teams, presenting to senior clients, and guiding large-scale creative programs., • Expertise in scriptwriting, storytelling, content creation, and multi-format writing., • Experience in entertainment, streaming, or youth culture-driven brands is a significant plus., • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment., • Excellent communication skills, command of narrative, and a compelling presentation style. The range listed is just one component of Movement Strategy's total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation varies based on location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, years of relevant experience, qualifications, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
