Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for safely transporting merchandise to various areas within the warehouse using hand pallet jacks. Your role will involve sorting and distributing merchandise, creating pallets, stacking boxes, and accurately operating an RF scanner. You will work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while always prioritizing safety. This position may require occasional overtime based on business needs, and some heavy lifting is involved, following a 50-pound per person model or two-person lifts. Responsibilities • Safely transport merchandise using hand pallet jacks., • Sort and distribute merchandise, including creating pallets and stacking boxes., • Accurately operate an RF scanner., • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment., • Prioritize safety at all times., • Work occasional required overtime based on business needs.Essential Skills, • Packing and handling materials., • Operating RF scanners., • Experience in packing, stocking, and labeling., • 6 months plus experience in shipping, receiving, and logistics.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in crating and crate building., • Material handling experience.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Island City, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
