POSITION SUMMARY: The Operations Team Member will be responsible for a variety of duties while providing participants with a quality program experience. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: • Welcoming golfers to the first tee, reinforcing course policies, monitoring pace of play, and helping ensure a safe enjoyable experience for all players, • Coaching sports groups or teams during clinics and camps, • Check rosters and player's identification, • Ensure correct equipment is available for games and proper set up of all play areas, • Ensure games start on time and are scored accurately, • Monitor play areas including courts and adventure area, • Monitor and assist in maintaining course conditions and equipment, reporting safety concerns to the Golf Operations leadership, • Assist the Golf Operations leadership with venue preparation for events and tournaments, • Assist the Golf Operations leadership during major events with check-in, signage, and other tasks, • Assist and transport guests as needed around the facility during events, • Assist in league and class coordination, • Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff, • Provide knowledge about prices, leagues, and events, • Know and enforce the facility's policies, procedures, and rules, • Opportunities to provide sports instruction and coach youth (based on experience), • Scoreboard Operation, • Officiates games and contests, • Have the ability to work with a wide variety of age groups, • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays), • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, • Must have excellent guest service skills, • Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills, • Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations, • Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team Members, • Must work well with others, • Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility, • Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others, • Have sports experience or an interest to learn, • Able to work electric scoreboard preferred, • Previous coaching/mentoring experience preferred, • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high, • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend, • Must be able to walk intermittently, • Will be required to operate a computer Job Posted by ApplicantPro
