Job DescriptionFull-time Attorney - Family LawLocation: Brielle, NJ (hybrid 3 onsite, 2 remote)Compensation: $130,000-150,000Billable Hours: 1,750 annuallyBenefits: 2+ weeks PTO, 8-10 holidays, medical, 401k and moreRequirements: • JD from accredited school, • 4 years of experience in NJ Family Law, • Litigation and courtroom experience, • Manage a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence, and adoption cases, • Conduct client consultations and provide expert legal advice on family law issues, • Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and pleadings, • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediation sessions, • Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements, • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on changes in family law legislation and case law, • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management, • Participate in Mandatory Economic Mediation sessions as required by New Jersey courts, • Utilize the NJ Child Support Guidelines Worksheet to calculate and negotiate child support arrangements, • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, • Contribute to the firm's marketing efforts and business development initiatives
