Job Description Title : Product Owner with P&C Insurance domain & Claims Exp Location: Erie, PA or Piscataway, NJ – Onsite from Day 1 Duration: Long Term Responsibilities: • Own and maintain the claims product backlog, ensuring items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for engineering execution, • Gather and refine requirements through stakeholder interviews, claims flow analysis, and hands-on review of operational scenarios, • Serve as the primary point of contact for Commercial Lines product Claims initiatives., • Understands and communicates the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for Commercial Lines products in alignment with the Product Manager and business stakeholders., • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases that reflect real claims behavior, not happy paths, • Collaborate with engineering on solution design, tradeoffs, and sequencing, • Participating in SDLC activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning, UAT coordination, and release validation, • Ensure claims functionality aligns with SLAs, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards, • Clearly communicate roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes to internal stakeholders, • Cultivates a product mindset, ensuring team-level understanding and alignment with product strategy throughout development and innovation activities, navigating ambiguity, and embracing change., • Owns, manages, and regularly prioritizes the user story backlog. Refines features and user stories in collaboration with the Business Analyst., • Leads demonstration of business value and guides teams through agile ceremonies, program planning, defect remediation, and continuous improvement activities., • Proactively manages team-level dependencies, adapting delivery plans and communicating impacts as appropriate., • Demonstrated experience working on claims systems (P&C insurance,), • Strong understanding of claims, • Comfort working with data (SQL or analytics tools) to validate assumptions and outcomes, • Experience with Bureau reporting and statistical reporting, • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, SAFe)., • Strong understanding of Claims workflow within P&C insurance specially Commercial Lines, • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence)., • CSPO, SAFE POPM, • Any P&C insurance certification and/or claims
