Key Responsibilities: ✔️ Safely operate a 26’ box truck for long-distance deliveries across multiple states ✔️ Handle freight with care, ensuring proper loading and unloading to prevent damage ✔️ Follow all DOT regulations and safety procedures (even though this is a non-CDL position) ✔️ Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and necessary documentation ✔️ Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately ✔️ Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and vendors ✔️ Ensure all loads are secured properly using straps, load bars, or other necessary equipment Minimum Qualifications: ✅ Must be at least 23 years old (for insurance requirements) ✅ Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR (No DUI, reckless driving, or major violations in the past 3 years) ✅ At least 2 years of experience driving a commercial box truck or similar vehicle ✅ Over-the-road (OTR) experience preferred (Ability to drive long distances and be away from home for extended periods) ✅ Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and handle freight as needed ✅ Smartphone with GPS and ability to use electronic logging applications ✅ Must pass a background check and drug test What We Offer: Competitive Weekly Pay – Direct deposit available Performance Bonuses – Earn more based on safe driving, timely deliveries, and fuel efficiency Flexible Home Time – Discussed upon hiring ️ Fuel Cards & Maintenance Support Available No Forced Dispatch – We work with you on scheduling Legally Compliant Independent Contractor Agreement Additional Notes: This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position – you will be responsible for your own taxes and expenses.
