Job Description RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse join our team at our recovery program, RISE Above, in Ballston Spa, NY. A successful candidate will enjoy supporting program participants during their stay with us, as they work toward recovery from a chemical dependency. This position will have the unique opportunity to enter at the ground floor of an innovative new program that meets an important community need. RISE offers a Licensed Practical Nurse: • A starting base wage of $27 per hour, • $1,500 Bonus after 6 months of employment, • A generous time off package: In your 1st year, earn up to 4 weeks of vacation and holiday time, 3 weeks of combined sick and personal time, and a day off for your birthday, • Medical, Dental, Vision, and many other benefits, • A family friendly atmosphere with wellness time, paid lunch hours, and recognition for your hard work and achievements, • An opportunity to advance your career in a growing organization that likes to promote from within Overview of Job Responsibilities: • Providing services to residents as prescribed in their treatment recovery plan under the supervision of a registered nurse, • Observing, measuring, recording, and reporting on data relating to a resident’s physical and mental status, • Administering medications and conducting required nursing treatments as appropriate, • Acclimating residents to physical surroundings, program philosophy and expectations, • Participating in crisis intervention, • Complying with all relevant regulations governing the program To qualify you must have: • NYS Licensed Practical Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, • An ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training, • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills, • Strong interpersonal boundaries, • Our shared belief system in areas such as compassion, respect, positivity, and inclusion, • Clearance with all relevant background checks as per RISE policies and governing regulations, • A valid NY State Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the RISE automotive program desired If you can see yourself as a successful team member in an exciting new program at our growing non-profit, then submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
