About Holtium Holtium helps companies optimize how they spend on security and reduce the risk they don't see. We combine hands-on security expertise with an AI-powered platform that gives organizations a system of record for their security program: policies, assessments, controls, compliance, and spend, all in one place. Our customers range from fast-scaling tech companies to healthcare networks to real estate firms, and what they share is this: they’re overspending on security, overexposed to risk, or both. We fix that. Small team. No silos. High standards. Everyone rolls up their sleeves. The Role We're hiring a Physical Security Practice Lead to own the quality and consistency of security guidance across our customer portfolio, directly on high-touch accounts and through the Holtium platform everywhere else. About 50% of your time will be spent in direct customer delivery: running advisory sessions, conducting site visits, producing policies and SOPs, and advising on guard force and electronic security decisions, all following Holtium's proprietary methodologies and risk frameworks. The other 50% will be spent building the practice itself: refining decision frameworks, defining what "good" looks like across security domains, and creating the standards that let the platform and future team members deliver at a consistent level. This is not a desk job. We want someone who has personally walked sites, written post orders, evaluated camera systems, and stood up security programs from nothing. What You’ll Do Director Customer Advisory • Lead end-to-end engagements on high-touch accounts: assessments, security program design, policy development, and ongoing advisory., • Onboard new customers onto the Holtium platform: configure assessments, populate action items, and train customer teams., • Run advisory sessions with customer stakeholders, translating complex security posture into plain-language executive readouts., • Perform security risk and vulnerability assessments and develop prioritized mitigation roadmaps aligned to business objectives and insurance requirements., • Advise across the full spectrum of physical and electronic security, guard force operations, policy, and compliance, adapting recommendations to each customer's operational reality and risk tolerance. Platform Development & Scalability • Review and validate AI-generated risk assessments, security recommendations, and customer reports. Calibrate the platform's output to align with Holtium's standards and methodologies., • Define and refine the decision frameworks that power Holtium's assessment engine: what risks matter in which environments, which controls are proportionate, when to escalate., • Build reusable playbooks, templates, and assessment frameworks that standardize delivery across the entire portfolio., • Identify patterns across customer engagements that improve the platform's recommendation logic and strengthen Holtium’s proprietary frameworks., • Own the final review of security deliverables before they reach a customer, whether produced by the platform or by consultants. What You Bring Required • 5+ years of hands-on experience in physical security operations or program management. We're looking for someone who has personally conducted site assessments, written post orders, evaluated access control and camera systems, and managed guard operations, not someone who delegated that work and managed the budget from a distance. Your credibility comes from the field, not a title., • Broad expertise across physical security domains: electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, alarms), guard force operations (post orders, vendor oversight), policy and compliance, and site-level risk assessment. You shouldn't need a checklist to walk a facility and know what's wrong. You see the gaps instinctively because you've solved these problems before in different environments., • Strong policy and SOP writing skills. Every engagement produces customer-facing documents, you write clearly, quickly, and at a professional standard., • Track record of communicating risk to non-security executives in business terms., • Tech-forward mindset. You stay current on security technology, industry trends, and emerging tools. You see AI and data as force multipliers, not threats. This role requires comfort working within an AI-powered platform and contributing to its continuous improvement., • High standards, low ego, and comfort with ambiguity. You get energized by messy, complex problems, not overwhelmed by them. You'd rather build structure where there is none than follow someone else's playbook. This is a startup., • Ability to travel domestically up to 30%. Strongly Preferred • Multi-sector experience: healthcare, construction, tech, or corporate campuses., • CPP, PSP, or similar industry certifications. Active participation in security industry communities (ASIS, IAPSC, ISC West) is a strong signal. Key Traits • Pattern Recognition. Sees what's wrong before being told. Connects dots across environments and domains., • Ownership. Acts with initiative, follows through, and takes responsibility for outcomes across the entire portfolio., • Builder Mentality. Thinks in systems, not tasks. Builds frameworks that scale beyond personal capacity., • Customer-Centered. Deeply understands customer needs and builds solutions that unlock measurable value., • Clarity-Driven. Communicates with precision in writing and in person. Makes the complex accessible., • Trustworthy. Operates with integrity and earns confidence from peers and customers., • Always Learning. Stays current on security technology, regulations, and industry trends out of genuine curiosity, not obligation. What We Offer • Your work directly shapes how organizations protect their people, assets, and operations. This is security work that matters., • Be part of a team that's changing how organizations think about security, from a line item to a business function., • Direct impact across real customer environments, from Fortune 500 enterprises, to mid-market companies to high-growth startups. Different problems every week., • A small, focused team where your work is visible, your judgment matters, and there are no layers between you and the people making decisions., • Competitive base salary, equity participation, and health insurance., • Based in Miami, FL Equal Opportunity & Employment Policy Holtium is an at-will employer. Employment with Holtium is for no specified duration and may be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause or notice. Holtium is an equal opportunity employer.
