Duties: • Manage the planning, development, and implementation of a vaccine appointment scheduling and vaccination management system for use during public health emergencies., • Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure on-time and effective execution., • Coordinate cross-bureau stakeholders, including IT, operations, subject matter experts, legal, procurement, and external vendors or partners., • Translate emergency response and operational needs into clear functional and technical system requirements., • Support evaluation of system solutions, including build vs. buy options, integrations, scalability, and sustainability., • Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, workflows, and post-activation or after-action summaries., • A master’s degree in public health, public administration, information systems, project management, or a related field; or a bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant professional experience., • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, preferably in public health, emergency preparedness, health IT, or government settings., • Experience supporting vaccination programs, emergency response operations, or large-scale public health initiatives., • Familiarity with appointment scheduling systems, data systems, or digital tools used in healthcare or government., • Experience with stakeholder engagement and project management., • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills., • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage and report complex information., • Experience managing project risk and preparing presentations to executives., • Experience supporting budget management activities., • Experience with data collection, analysis and interpretation., • Desire to grow professionally, develop new skills and willingness to work outside of comfort zone., • Experience working with the public health sector and coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders., • Ability to prioritize and work in fast-paced environment with hard deadlines., • Hybrid Work Schedule., • Generous Paid Time Off and Holidays., • An attractive and comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental and Vision., • Flexible Spending Accounts and Commuter Benefits., • Company Paid Life Insurance and Disability Coverage., • 403(b) + employer matching and discretionary company contributions., • College Savings Plan., • This is a temporary grant-funded position ending in November 2027., • This individual must reside in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) by their confirmed start date., • Preference may be given to individuals residing in New York City (5 boroughs) or surrounding New York State counties. As a Field Service Technician specializing in Fire Extinguisher and Life Safety, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, inspection, and repair services for fire extinguishers representing Total Fire Protection. Your primary goal will be to ensure that fire extinguishers are in proper working condition and compliant with relevant safety regulations. This position requires a strong knowledge of fire extinguisher types, components, and servicing procedures. Responsibilities: • Perform routine inspections of fire extinguishers according to established schedules and standards., • Conduct thorough examinations of extinguishers to identify any defects, damages, or signs of wear., • Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and maintenance activities for each extinguisher., • Conduct servicing and recharging of fire extinguishers to ensure they are fully functional and ready for use., • Ensure that all serviced fire extinguishers meet relevant fire codes, regulations, and standards., • Update and maintain accurate records of services provided, including dates, details, and any necessary corrective actions., • Communicate inspection findings and recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders., • Interact professionally and courteously with clients while on-site, addressing any questions or concerns., • Provide knowledgeable advice and guidance regarding fire extinguisher maintenance, usage, and safety practices., • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales or customer support, to coordinate service requests and resolve issues., • Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to fire extinguisher servicing., • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge., • Valid driver's license and clean driving record., • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in fire safety is preferred., • Proven experience as a field service technician or in a similar role, preferably within the fire and life safety industry., • Solid understanding of different fire extinguisher types, their components, and servicing requirements., • Familiarity with relevant safety codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NFPA, OSHA)., • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues., • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple service calls efficiently., • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and internal teams., • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment when necessary., • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols.
