Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, programming and repairing fire alarm systems of various manufacturers. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will work closely with our clients to ensure the proper functioning and compliance of their fire alarm systems. Responsibilities: • Install, inspect, test, clean, repair and program fire alarm systems according to industry standards and regulations and manufacturers’ recommendations. • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, and other components. • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, testing, and replacing batteries and devices. • Coordinate with clients to schedule inspections, maintenance visits, and repairs. • Complete all required paperwork, including work orders, inspection reports, and documentation for compliance with regulatory agencies. • Stay updated on advancements in fire alarm technology and industry standards. Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar role – Preferred • Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, as well as local building codes and regulations - Preferred. • Experience with various types of fire alarm systems, including addressable and conventional systems - Preferred. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Available for work during holidays, weekends, nights, and evenings. Willingness to respond to on-site emergencies within a four-hour timeframe when necessary. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications: • Certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) or equivalent. • Experience with Honeywell, Simplex, EST, Notifier, or other major fire alarm system manufacturers. • Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and integration with fire alarm systems. • Holding NYC FDNY issued certificate of fitness (S98 or S97) Benefits: • Excellent benefit package as per the industry standard • Competitive salary commensurate with experience. We are looking for a patient, enthusiastic driving instructor to prepare our students for their driver's tests. The driving instructor's responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons that promote students' theoretical and applied driving skills. Driving instructors also communicate with students to ascertain which of their abilities require further development. To be successful as a driving instructor, you should maintain excellent communication with students at all times. Ultimately, a top-notch driving instructor will tailor their instruction to meet the needs of students, while still meeting targets set by the driving school. Driving Instructor Responsibilities: Preparing lessons that are tailored to students' needs. Providing instruction on the parts and functions of a vehicle, and on-road regulations. Teaching practical skills related to all aspects of driving. Helping students to develop confidence in their driving skills. Gaining control of the vehicle during emergency situations. Calming students who are in distress. Documenting and reporting on students' progress. Informing students when they are ready to take the driver's test. Reporting all accidents to the Head of the driving school. Driving Instructor Requirements: Must have your own vehicle to teach. High school diploma or equivalent. Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present. Marking cutting lines on material. Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and screwed in. Ensuring that quality control standards are met. Maintaining a production schedule. Testing products for their functionality. Troubleshooting and stress testing products to minimize problems or recalls. Reporting and detailing product malfunctions. Adhering to assembly safety standards. Fabricator Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Specialized certification preferred. Proficiency in operating heavy machinery. Excellent eyesight and color vision. Good dexterity. Provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results. Determines physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
