Responsibilities Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Customer Care Coordinator to join our team. This position receives inbound calls in call center and enters information into computer for customer service. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.) • Answers telephone inquiries promptly and is responsible for intake of orders, • Collects co-pays and coinsurances for services rendered, • Determine the best method for providing service while evaluating reimbursement and cost impact to the company, • Educates customers on product availability, • Ensure compassionate and positive interactions with customers, caregivers, referral sources and payers, • Make decisions based on customer need, vendor pricing and third party reimbursement possibilities, • Open new customer computer accounts, enter and confirm work orders and monitor accounts for accuracy and completion, • Resolve customer concerns and complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action to ensure best service is provided, • Respond quickly and professionally to customer inquiries (patients and referral sources), both in the store and on the phone, with regard to appropriateness, availability, and coverage guidelines of equipment/supplies, • Suggests new or additional products or services relative to the customers diagnosis, • Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Employment is contingent on • Background check (company-wide). Instead, the Company will conduct an individualized assessment that considers the duties of the position, the nature and timing of the offense, and any evidence of rehabilitation, in accordance with applicable laws., • Drug screen (when applicable for the position), • Compliance with healthcare facility credentialing process (when applicable for the position), • One year of related work experience, preferred Bi-Lingual, preferred * AS400 experience, preferred Skills and Competencies • Accurately perform simple mathematical calculations, • Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written, • Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual), • Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information, • Multi-task along with attention to detail, • Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills, • Lift and carry office equipment at times around the office, • Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening, • Email transmission and communication, • Internet navigation and research, • Microsoft applications; Word and Excel, • Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer and/or tablet
