Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CVPICU, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 05/18/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 3x12hrs, • Hours: 36 hrs/wk, • Start Date: May 18, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting at a major academic medical center in Albany, NY, • Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, • 13-week contractRequirements, • Active NY RN license required at time of consideration, • Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience required, • Epic EMR experience is required; candidates without Epic experience will not be considered, • BLS and all certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI, • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months, • US Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted, • Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal or religious declinations will not be honoredAdditional Information, • Must pass an ICU competency test; two attempts are allowed, • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and outside the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington, • Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application, • No blocked scheduling, • More than 3 call-outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
