Job DescriptionJob Summary The Indust rial Electrician Level III is responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure equipment availability and reliability. This role requires expertise in industrial electrical systems, safe work practices, and the ability to mentor and coach others. Key Responsibilities En sure workplace safety by stopping work and reporting hazards immediately Comply with HSE standards and report injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards promptly Minimize environmental impact by recognizing and reducing negative effects of work activities Perform quality craftsmanship ensuring reliability and efficiency of equipment Support preventive maintenance by providing feedback and assisting with failure analysis Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to meet codes and standards Coach and mentor apprentices to build team knowledge and capability Participate in continuous improvement activities and TPM teams to enhance safety, quality, and processes Qualifications and Competencies Col laboration skills to build strong partnerships and achieve shared goals Clear communication tailored to diverse audiences Customer focus to deliver solutions that meet client needs Decision-making ability for timely, well-informed choices Results orientation to consistently achieve outcomes under challenging circumstances Champion health and safety by modeling proactive practices Controls safety expertise in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Troubleshooting skills for electrical control systems Automation and programming to optimize manufacturing processes Manufacturing knowledge to implement process and equipment changes Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred 7+ years of relevant trade experience or Journeyman Trade Certificate with relevant experience Alternatively, a 2-year technical degree plus 3 years’ experience in Machine Repair/Industrial Electrical Knowledge of NEC and IEC codes with training, authorization, and certification in NFPA 70E Strong troubleshooting skills with PLC, HMI, Servo Drives, CNC, automation, and robotics Relevant Experience May Include Controls engineering Industrial automation Robotics Residential or commercial electrical Heavy equipment maintenance Welding and fabrication Machining Agricultural equipment repai r Education: High School Certification: Journeyman Trade CertificateCompany DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
