Job Description IT Analyst (Security & Systems Support) • Salary Range $25.00 - $35.00 / hour, • Reports To: Chief Information Officer, • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Summary The IT Analyst (Security & Systems Support) supports the Credit Union's Cybersecurity Microsoft 365 administration, systems support and help desk operations. This role is responsible for monitoring security, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting users, maintaining technology systems, and assisting with technology projects to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable operations throughout the organization. Duties and Responsibilities • SCFCU expects regular attendance and punctuality. This means being in the workplace, ready to work at your scheduled time each day and completing your entire shift. Employees are also expected to return from meal and break periods on time., • Monitor and respond to security alerts across systems and Microsoft 365., • Investigate suspicious activity and assist with threat remediation efforts., • Investigate suspicious activity and assist with threat remediation., • Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive), • Manage user accounts, licensing, and access controls., • Implement and support security controls (MFA, conditional access, email security), • Assist with vulnerability management, audits, and compliance efforts., • Support phishing response and cybersecurity awareness initiatives., • Configure, maintain, and monitor servers, workstations, network devices., • Support firewalls, switches, endpoint security tools, and system updates., • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot alerts, logs, and outages., • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and new technology deployments., • ProvideTier1–2 technical support for hardware, software, and access issues., • Respond to help desk tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner., • Support onboarding/offboarding, account, setup, and device provisioning., • Troubleshoot and document solutions to improve service and efficiency/, • Provide occasional after-hours or on-call support., • Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities • None Qualifications • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or a related field., • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, networking concepts, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity fundamentals, including MFA, phishing prevention, and endpoint protection., • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently., • Experience with help desk/ticketing systems and Microsoft security tools such as Defender, Conditional Access, and Purview is preferred., • Industry certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+) and experience in financial or other regulated environments are preferred. Language Ability • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation, procedure manuals, and business correspondence. Ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively with employees, management, vendors, and members. Math Ability • Basic to Intermediate Skills - Ability to perform calculations involving percentages, ratios, and trend analysis and interpret data used in reporting, troubleshooting, and system monitoring. Reasoning Ability • High Skills - Ability to solve practical technology-related problems, analyze security incidents, troubleshoot systems, evaluate alternative solutions, and interpret technical instructions. Computer Skills • Microsoft 365 Administration, • Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, • Email and texting platforms, • KBase, SimplifyIt, • Windows Server Administration, • Help Desk/Ticketing System, • SharePoint, • OneDrive Education/Experience • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred., • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or cybersecurity. Certificates and Licenses • Valid driver's licensce, • Preferred:- CompTIA Security+- CompTIA Network+- Microsoft Certifications or equivalent industry certifications.
