POSITION SUMMARY: The Seasonal Recruitment Coordinator supports Girl Scouts of Western New York’s fall recruitment efforts by engaging families, schools, and community partners to promote Girl Scouting opportunities in the Greater Rochester area. This dynamic, people-centered role is perfect for someone passionate about youth empowerment, community engagement, and making Girl Scouts accessible to all. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Recruitment Events & Outreach:, • Coordinate and attend school-based and community recruitment events., • Deliver engaging presentations and facilitate activities that promote Girl Scout membership., • Represent GSWNY at tabling events, open houses, and festivals., • Relationship Building:, • Build and strengthen partnerships with local schools, parent organizations, and community leaders., • Support new families with the registration process and connect them to local troops or opportunities., • Administrative & Follow-Up:, • Track leads and event participation using GSWNY’s CRM system., • Follow up with families to guide them through the membership journey., • Assist with assembling and distributing recruitment materials. Qualifications: • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; enjoys engaging with children and adults., • Comfortable presenting to small or large groups., • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and time management., • Familiarity with the Rochester community is a plus., • Must have access to reliable transportation., • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends., • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., recruitment materials, display items)., • Hourly rate: $16-18/hour (based on experience), • Mileage reimbursement for approved travel, • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of girls across our region, • Training and support provided by GSWNY staff GIRL SCOUT MEMBERSHIP: All Employees of Girl Scouts must maintain an active, annual membership in Girl Scouts of Western New York. This membership must be renewed annually, and all newly hired employees are expected to enroll with GSWNY within the first 30 days of their employment.
