Job DescriptionDescription: Job Summary: The Order Picker will retrieve stock to fill customer orders and transport items to the shipping dock for loading. 40+ hours a week. Starting pay $19.35/hr. This is a 3rd shift position Sunday thru Thursday. Duties/Responsibilities: • Receives orders and retrieves goods from warehouse., • Checks list for accuracy and inspects collected goods., • Delivers materials to loading dock for loading and updates computer ordering system., • Palletizing product as selected in an accurate and efficient manner., • Uses an order-picker truck to pull orders when needed., • Follows safety rules for warehouse when picking an order., • Performs other related duties as assigned., • Requires working until all product in accurately selected and loaded. Requirements: Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed., • Basic math, language and reading skills., • Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.
