Job Description The Residence Manager is responsible for the maintenance and ambiance of apartment units and for ensuring that rents and program-related fees are paid in a timely manner. The Residence Manager is also responsible for the Certification and Re-certification of all residents/tenants in accordance with Section 8 and Low-Income Tax Credit requirements and guidelines, and for the maintenance of all apartment files. This 255-unit residence will provide housing for 153 individuals and families referred by the New York City HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA) and the remaining 102 units will be apartments for moderate-income households. The Part-Time Resident Manager is responsible for the supervision of the residents and the overall operation of the facility during designated shifts. They will work collaboratively with the Clinical team and the Program Director to ensure that resident needs are being met as well as the safety of the facility. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills along with experience working with the HIV/AIDS population. The part-time shifts we are looking to cover are: Saturdays and Sundays 9 am to 9 pm OR 9 pm to 9 am.
