QUALIFICATIONS: • Current NYS Registered Nurse license., • Current NYS Nurse Practitioners license and DEA License, • Master's Degree in Nursing is required., • One (1) year experience in hospital, inpatient hospice, medical-surgical, community based, • Hospice or palliative care setting as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred., • Competent to care for patients in the advanced stage of disease., • 3600 hours or 2.5 years of NP working experience in hospital, inpatient hospice, medical-surgical, community-based Hospice, or palliative care setting as a Nurse Practitioner is required., • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
