Responsibilities • Evaluate environmental and occupational health conditions associated with buildings, facilities, and construction projects, • Review project documents, environmental reports, sampling data, laboratory results, maintenance records, and other technical information, • Investigate conditions involving mold, indoor air quality, asbestos, lead, chemical exposure, and other potential environmental hazards, • Develop and oversee appropriate sampling, testing, and data-gathering protocols, • Evaluate sampling and laboratory results and determine the significance of findings, • Assess applicable industry standards, regulations, guidelines, and accepted practices, • Document site conditions and technical findings, • Prepare clear, well-supported reports and technical opinions, • Provide expert testimony in depositions, hearings, arbitration, and trial as required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline, • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential preferred, • 20+ years of combined academic and professional experience within your area of expertise, • Extensive experience conducting or evaluating industrial hygiene and environmental investigations, • Strong knowledge of sampling methodologies, exposure assessment, laboratory data, and applicable standards and regulations, • Experience with building-related environmental conditions is highly desirable, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Ability and willingness to provide expert testimony Experience in construction claims, litigation support, or expert witness work is highly desirable but not required.
