Job Summary The Local Quality Process Owner is responsible for overseeing and sustaining quality initiatives at the unit level, ensuring alignment with global and regional standards while tailoring practices to local operational needs. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role plays a key part in embedding a culture of quality across all functional streams. The position also ensures that customer requirements are consistently met through proactive monitoring, training, and collaboration. The Local Quality Process Owner leads local quality projects, supports continuous improvement efforts, and fosters cross-functional engagement to enhance overall performance and customer satisfaction. Annual Salary Range: 105-120k Location: 30 Inip Dr, Inwood NY 11096 Benefits: • 401(k), • Dental insurance, • Disability insurance, • Health insurance, • Paid time off, • Vision insurance, • Daily meals, • Parking Main Duties and Responsibilities Quality Management and Adherence: • Oversee that all agreed customer requirements are consistently met within the local operations., • Coordinate efforts to uphold internal quality standards and specifications., • Define and establish local quality standards and processes to address specific unit needs., • Implement and maintain local Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with global standards., • Support execution of the Quality Roadmap milestones and strategic initiatives. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: • Implement mechanisms to monitor quality performance, identify trends, and report deviations or risks to relevant stakeholders., • Analyze quality metrics to drive data-informed decisions and corrective actions., • Drive local governance and auditing activities to ensure compliance and identify areas for enhancement. Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving: • Lead local quality projects aimed at improving product and service delivery., • Support root cause analysis of quality issues and lead the implementation of preventive and corrective actions., • Identify and facilitate opportunities for continuous improvement within local operational processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Support: • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless integration of quality practices within daily operations., • Act as a liaison between the unit and regional/global quality teams to support alignment and consistency., • Lead the investigation of customer complaints and trends, delivering timely and precise reports to commercial and customer service teams. Quality Culture and Capability Building: • Promote and instill a culture of quality awareness across all levels of the unit., • Develop and deliver quality training to operations teams to support understanding and execution of standards., • Lead local quality awareness campaigns and initiatives to engage staff and reinforce best practices. Education • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent field experience; advanced degree in related field desirable. Master’s degree preferred. Work Experience • Must have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in quality management, with demonstrated career growth., • Experience in implementing and maintaining quality systems, standards, and audits, • Preference for experience in airline catering and/or multi-site manufacturing environment., • A proven track record of successful results. Technical Skills • Strong computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint., • Proficiency in quality assurance tools and methodologies., • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, verbal and written communication skills required., • Exemplary English writing skills, with reading and writing proficiency in multiple languages., • Proven teamwork experience in a fast-paced environment., • Passionate and self-motivated., • Detail orientated, flexible and responsive., • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.     ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Bilingual Early Intervention ISC and OSC Service Coordinator’s responsibilities may include: • Serve as the primary Service Coordinator for assigned infants, toddlers, and families., • Explain the Early Intervention Program, service coordination process, family rights, procedural safeguards, and available services to families., • Communicate with families in their preferred language when qualified to do so., • Develop trusting, respectful, and family-centered relationships with parents and caregivers., • Assist families with navigating the Early Intervention system., • Coordinate and facilitate communication among families, evaluators, Early Intervention providers, Early Intervention Officials/Designees, and other professionals involved with the child., • Assist families with scheduling and coordinating multidisciplinary evaluations and other required appointments., • Participate in and coordinate IFSP meetings as required., • Assist families in identifying priorities, concerns, resources, and desired outcomes for their child and family., • Support the development, implementation, review, and amendment of the child’s IFSP., • Assist families with identifying available Early Intervention providers for authorized services., • Coordinate the initiation of authorized Early Intervention services., • Monitor whether services are being delivered in accordance with the child’s IFSP., • Follow up with families and providers regarding missed, delayed, interrupted, or unavailable services., • Identify barriers affecting service delivery and communicate concerns to the appropriate Early Intervention personnel., • Maintain ongoing contact with assigned families in accordance with program requirements and individual family needs., • Assist families with accessing community programs, healthcare resources, social services, educational resources, and other supports when appropriate., • Advocate for family participation and informed decision-making throughout the Early Intervention process., • Support transition planning as children approach age three and prepare to transition from the Early Intervention Program., • Collaborate with families regarding potential transition to preschool special education or other appropriate community services., • Complete all required case notes, service coordination documentation, contact logs, IFSP-related documentation, and other records accurately and within required timeframes., • Maintain accurate and current information within required Early Intervention systems., • Maintain confidentiality of child and family information in accordance with applicable federal and New York State requirements and Angel Community Alliance policies., • Participate in required orientation, training, supervision, quality-assurance activities, and professional-development activities., • Follow all applicable New York State Early Intervention Program requirements, policies, procedures, and ethical standards., • Bilingual Service Coordinators may be responsible for:, • Communicating directly with families in both English and their qualified second language., • Explaining Early Intervention processes and requirements in a manner families can understand., • Supporting culturally and linguistically responsive communication., • Helping reduce language-related barriers to participation in Early Intervention services., • Communicating effectively with bilingual families while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality., • Utilizing approved interpretation and translation resources when circumstances require services beyond the Service Coordinator’s language competency or role. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must meet applicable New York State Early Intervention Program requirements for Service Coordinators and Angel Community Alliance credentialing requirements. Preferred qualifications include: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, human services, early childhood education, special education, sociology, counseling, family studies, behavioral science, or a related field., • Experience working with infants, toddlers, children, or families., • Experience with children with developmental delays or disabilities., • Knowledge of Early Intervention, developmental disabilities, special education, Medicaid-funded programs, or community-based services., • Experience with case management or service coordination., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Strong organizational and time-management abilities., • Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, appointments, and documentation requirements., • Ability to communicate professionally with families, providers, government representatives, and other professionals., • Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to supervision and agency requirements., • Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred. Additional languages commonly spoken by families throughout New York City are also welcomed.
