Job DescriptionBenefits: • Competitive salary, • Flexible schedule, • Paid time off Part-Time Psychiatrist Outpatient Family Practice Practice Overview We are a patient-centered family medicine practice seeking a Part-Time Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive mental health care for our established patient population. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with primary care providers to deliver integrated, whole-person care in an outpatient setting. Position Summary The Psychiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a range of mental health conditions, supporting continuity of care within the family practice. The position focuses on outpatient psychiatric services with an emphasis on collaboration, accessibility, and patient education. Key Responsibilities • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits, • Diagnose and manage common mental health conditions such as:, • Depression, • Anxiety disorders, • ADHD, • Mood disorders, • Provide medication management and treatment planning, • Collaborate closely with family medicine providers and care team members, • Review and interpret clinical information and laboratory results as needed, • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medication use, • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), • Follow evidence-based clinical guidelines and best practices Qualifications • MD or DO degree, • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry, • Active, unrestricted state medical license, • DEA registration (or ability to obtain), • Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred, • Strong communication and collaborative care skills Schedule • Part-time position, • Flexible days and hours based on practice needs Practice Environment • Outpatient family medicine setting, • Integrated care model, • Supportive multidisciplinary team, • No inpatient or hospital call responsibilities Compensation • Competitive, commensurate with experience, • Flexible compensation structure (hourly or per session) How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a CV and brief cover letter outlining availability and clinical interests.
