Job Description OVERVIEW: Are you looking for a job that's both challenging and fun? Join our dynamic team as a Sampling Agent in the exciting and ever-evolving New Jersey medical and adult-use cannabis industry. This full-time, day shift position involves traveling to various grower and processor sites to collect medical and recreational cannabis samples. The role requires adherence to strict aseptic techniques and meticulous documentation to ensure the secure transfer of samples to our laboratory. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Sampling Agent is responsible for routine sampling, including but not limited to the random, and representative collection of cannabis and cannabis products submitted for compliance sampling, additional non-random sampling for Research & Development (R&D) purposes, secured transportation of samples submitted to the laboratory for testing and maintaining the laboratory's physical inventory of cannabis and cannabis products, as defined by each state's regulatory body. As a client-facing role, the Sampling Agent is expected to exercise reasonable discretion within the performance of all professional duties. QUALIFICATIONS: must: • Be at least 21 years old., • Maintain a valid driver's license., • Have a high school diploma, or equivalent., • Have two years of customer service experience (preferred), • Able to meet the eligibility requirements for employment within a cannabis business set by the state of New Jersey., • Travel daily to grower/processor sites within the state of New Jersey using a company provided vehicle., • Interact professionally with clients on-site, representing the company with a high level of professionalism., • Collect medical cannabis samples using aseptic techniques., • Accurately document all necessary information on chain of custody forms and manifests utilizing good documentation practices., • Ensure secure transfer of samples back to the laboratory and other duties as assigned in the laboratory., • Adapt to a varying daily schedule based on client needs. may include: • Frequent Standing, sitting, walking, • Reaching with arms and hands, • Using hands, • Talking and hearing, • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, • Lifting or moving up to 40 lbs, • Close vision, • Color vision, • Ability to adjust focus, • Ability to concentrate and produce accurate work consistently, • Willingness to experience non-ambient environmental conditions during field-sampling, • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle Salary: Starting at $20.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) Benefits: • Dental insurance, • Health insurance, • Paid time off, • 8 hour shift, • Day shift
