Position Title: Assistant Project Manager Position Overview: Responsible for directing all aspects of document control, including initial set-up, regular updates and report preparation. Assists the Project Manager and Superintendent in project planning, estimating, scheduling, procurement, safety, quality, application of resources, delivery of project objectives and cost control. Principle Responsibilities: • Maintain a log of Latest Contract Drawings and Specification and update as revisions are issued., • Ensure proper documentation of all project activities including; conversation logs, meeting minutes, tests, inspections, material delivery, Work Plans and Daily Reports., • Implement & maintain Document Control measures including; submittal files and logs, RFI’s, photographs, material delivery tracking, meeting minutes and preparing reporting information., • Manage and expedite resolution of RFI’s, submittals, work plans, cost estimates, etc., • Track progress, quantities, subcontractor productivity & project percent complete when required., • Review Work Plans submitted by Contractors., • Establish list and oversee required tests & inspections. Issue Notice on Non-Conformance when necessary., • Establish the punch list process and required forms. Develop and maintain a list of action items/issues, resolve engineering problems., • Create Drawing packages or each Contract; enter drawing and specification data and drawing revisions., • Conduct meetings as required; prepare meeting minutes, and reporting information as required., • Assist with project closeout; obtain, turnover and get receipts for final test reports, warrantees, operating manuals, parts, keys, spare stock, as-built documents etc., and maintain the necessary logs and records for all trades, contractors, and suppliers., • Perform daily safety walkthroughs and equipment inspections, contact local hospitals, doctors and medical treatment facilities, arrange for ambulatory service, obtain first aid kit and safety supplies (hardhats, safety glasses, fire extinguishers, vests, etc.)., • Daily Operations of Office - Phones, email, faxing, Fed Ex, Restocking supplies, Water supplies, Files, Copying, Equipment Maintenance Calls, • Other duties as required., • Knowledge in Excel, Microsoft Word, Procore and eBuilder.
