The Clinical Nurse (RN) delivers safe, competent, quality nursing care based on theory, research, evidence-based practice, and organizational standards. Responsibilities include patient assessment, critical thinking in care management, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, patient and family education, and participation in quality and safety initiatives. Nurses may float within ICU units as needed.
