Job Description Accounts Receivable Specialist New York, NY Full Time M-F 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Basic Function: To provide financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts Key Responsibilities: • Coding and posting of cash receipts., • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, • Upload invoices to client’s invoicing platform, • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records, • Respond to client internal and external inquiries, • Assist with processing monthly statements, • Work closely with collections team, • Understanding of both financial and operational controls, • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills, • Clear and effective written and oral communication skills, • Detail-oriented and ability to work with a high level of independence, • Self-motivated and self-directed, • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field, • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables, • Familiarity with Accounting Software.
