We will share further details such as the culture, how progression works within the company, etc. SUMMARY OF POSITION The Manufacturing Engineer will plan and design product applications and machinery. The position is responsible for organizing highly complex activities for design, development, implementation, and maintenance of heat exchanger manufacturing processes. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, • 3-5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering., • Experience in metal fabrication, welding and/or brazing of pressure containing products., • Experience in a highly regulated industry, such as, Military, Aerospace, Nuclear or Automotive or other similar., • Due to ITAR Restrictions, an export license may be required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are listed below. This list is not all-inclusive and may be amended from time to time. • Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness, including determining root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods., • Design, install, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment., • Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts., • Design testing methods and test finished products or process capabilities to establish standards or validate process requirements., • Design layout of equipment or workspaces to achieve maximum efficiency., • Review product designs for manufacturability or completeness; including purchasing equipment, materials, or parts and preparing documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures., • Evaluate manufactured products according to specifications and quality standards, including troubleshooting new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes, • Develop sustainable manufacturing technologies and analyze the financial impacts of sustainable manufacturing, • Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing., • Develop, document and implement standard work instructions for critical manufacturing operations. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Excellent people and communication skills are required (both oral and written)., • Strong interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation, • Computer literacy in a MRP system (Oracle a plus), Microsoft Office., • Able to work under pressure, • Highly technical and analytical skills such (drawings, schematics, layout), • Able to think out of box., • Project management skills, • Highly organized and efficient, • Possess leadership and interpersonal skills, • Strong problem-solving skills OTHER • Due to contracts with the United States Government, the candidate must be either a U.S. citizen or a Green card holder. COMPENSATION The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
