Job Description Organize and implement all aspects and technical portions of core and supplemental underage drinking and drunk driving prevention programs for targeted populations at the State and Local level. Responsible for all program administration including regular liaison and reporting, achievement of established performance objectives, development of programs to achieve objectives and adherence to all program and/or grant policies and guidelines. This is a remote, work from home position, which will require 40% travel in the local community, availability during daytime working hours, and the selected candidate to reside in the general Long Island, NY or Mineola, NY area. Responsibilities • Provide inpatient and outpatient Gastrointestinal care, • Participate in the advanced endoscopy consultation service, • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with pancreaticobiliary diseases, as well as general gastroenterological care, • Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including but not limited to Endoscopic Ultrasound, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, Deep Enteroscopy, Endoluminal Stenting, Complex Polypectomy, and Endobariatrics, • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and/or Push Enteroscopy (with or without biopsies, polypectomy, control of bleeding, ligation of varices, removal of foreign bodies, dilation, stenting, etc.), • Perform and interpret capsule endoscopy, pH/impedance, and manometry studies, • Supervise and mentor gastroenterology fellows and medicine residents assigned to the gastroenterology and hepatology service, • Provide weekend and evening call coverage for gastroenterology services at H+H/Kings County and SUNY Downstate Medical Center, • Academic appointment at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, • Applicants with an interest in motility are encouraged to apply, • Protected 1 day admin time per week Qualifications • Current licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain one), • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Annual Base Salary: $350,000 based on 40-hour work week.
