Job Description Marketing and Business Development Analyst Location: New Jersey Office Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience) SourcePro Search is partnering with a leading law firm to find a Marketing and Business Development Analyst to join their high-performing Marketing Department. This strategic role is ideal for a data-savvy, research-driven professional who thrives at the intersection of analytics, market intelligence, and business growth strategy. What You’ll Do: • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive intelligence to identify trends, target opportunities, and support practice group growth strategies, • Create detailed client, prospect, and industry intelligence reports to inform business development efforts, • Track and analyze legal market developments, competitor activities, and industry-specific opportunities, • Leverage data and analytics to support strategic marketing and business development initiatives, • Maintain and enhance the firm’s CRM and experience databases, ensuring accurate matter reporting and data integrity, • Assist in RFPs, proposals, and pitch materials, ensuring alignment with firm brand and strategic goals, • Develop new marketing collateral to promote the firm’s services to targeted audiences, • Manage and track outreach campaigns using the firm’s CRM system, measuring engagement and results, • Produce impactful submissions for legal rankings and awards, collaborating with PR partners when needed, • Partner closely with attorneys and practice leaders to execute targeted business development initiatives, • Provide backup support during team absences or high-volume workload periods What You’ll Bring: • Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, business development, or analytics, • Professional services experience (law firm, accounting, consulting) strongly preferred, • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills, • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, • Familiarity with Nexl, Foundations, Bloomberg Law, and Dun & Bradstreet a plus, • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting, • Willingness to travel between offices as needed If you’re ready to bring your analytical expertise, market insight, and strategic thinking to a respected and dynamic legal team, we’d love to connect.
